We're opening NorthEast India Connect to travel bloggers, vloggers, and storytellers who've actually walked the trails, stayed in the homestays, and eaten the food. If you have a real story from the region, we want to publish it.
Pitch your storyNorthEast India Connect is a hub for travel across Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim. Our own team covers a lot of ground, but the region is enormous — and some of the best stories belong to the people who actually lived them. That's where you come in.
Your story reaches people actively planning trips to the region — not a general travel audience.
Your author bio links back to your blog, channel, or profile from a live, indexed page.
Published under your name, permanently archived on the site.
We don't charge contributors, and we don't pay for posts. It's a straight trade: your story for the exposure.
Just like travelers need the right paperwork to enter parts of the region, your guest post needs to clear a few checkpoints before we publish it.
Well-developed and substantial — not padded to hit a number.
A specific state, town, trek, festival, or community in the region.
No AI-generated or AI-assisted drafting. We check, and this is non-negotiable.
Your own photos preferred. Licensed stock is fine — credit the source.
Pitch first, write second — it saves everyone time.
Send it to [email protected] with the subject line Guest Post Pitch – [Your Title], a 3–5 sentence synopsis, a one-line author bio with a link to your blog or channel, and 2–3 links to your previously published work.
Expect a reply within 5–7 business days. If your topic overlaps with something we've already published, we'll let you know and suggest an angle instead.
Once approved, write the full draft within the agreed timeframe and send it over with your images and any relevant links.
We check for originality, accuracy, and quality. We may come back with edit requests before it's ready to go live.
We schedule the post, publish it, and send you the live link — yours to share with your own audience.
A few starting points — browse what we've already published before you pitch, so your story adds something new.
These are pieces from our own editorial team — a good benchmark for tone, depth, and structure.
For clarity, grammar, formatting, and SEO — without changing your voice or the facts you've reported.
If a piece doesn't meet our quality or originality bar, we reserve the right to pass on it without an extended explanation.
Or properly licensed for reuse — and you grant us the right to publish them on NorthEast India Connect.
We're not able to accommodate takedown requests after publication, except in cases of factual error or a genuine rights dispute.
Send your pitch and a few writing samples — we read every email.
